name of a small town on the northern coast of Central Java Province. One
characteristic of this batik style is rich in color, take various forms freely
from surrounding, also showing acculturation implies, we can find cultural influences of China, India and Arabia
on some Pekalongan motifs.

Madura is the name of an island in the eastern city of Surabaya, East Java.
They have a little bit different culture with Javanese people.
